Plans Change

Well, if you don't already know, let me be the first to tell you that sometimes 'Plans Change'. My plans had been to go to Virginia this weekend but most of my family have already cancelled. I was unable to get the requested time off and Saturday and Sunday is not long enough for me to take a 7 hour drive out... that's not including the time back. Then there's traffic to consider along with the Father's Day weekend madness. No, I'll be staying put this weekend.

My cancelling is a disappointment to a few relatives and to myself. I'm still fighting with myself over this! I pray there will be other times as we were able to gather together for our Family Reunion last August. God, please grant us other times together.

My Cousins... Family always makes it all better!

I may not be able to be with them in person this Father's Day, but I'll carry them around in my thoughts and my heart this weekend.
